Hello,
I have a completely reformated drive with XP Home installed and all updates
and service packs. I have installed Windows Media player v.10 and all
appropriate drivers. I can play video files with windows media player
through our highspeed online internet service or dvd, and the sound plays
without any problems. The issue we are having is when we go to a certain
website www.fandango.com and click the link for the movie trailers, a black
box will appear and the controls will also appear along the botton of the
black box where the movie trailer is suppose to play, but no video will
display. I have another pc on our network and this same website shows the
movie trailers correctly on this pc, therefor I know it's not the website.
What do you suggest??? TIA
Joe

Did you read their FAQ:
http://fandango.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/fandango.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=287&p_created=1110499753&p_sid=Oc5w6Pqi&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX 3Jvd19jbnQ9MSZwX3Byb2RzPSZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9JnBfY3Y 9JnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9UGxheV9UcmFpbGVyX 210cDI*&p_li=&p_topview=1

They appear to be in Flash format, did you remember to reinstall Adobe
Shockwave and FlashPayer... (used to be owned by Macromedia before Adobe
brought them out)..
