Assume I install WinXP 64 on my 64 bit hardware system.

Can I really install all 32 bit software (including 32 bit drivers)
on my 64 bit OS ?

What about MS patches for WinXP? Can I apply "normal" patches (which are intended
for 32 bit WinXP) as well on 64 bit WinXP?

Not all software is compatable with WinXP X64 but most of it is. So far I've
only ran into one program that won't work with X64. You can't use 32 bit
drivers you need 64 bit drivers, so far I've found all my 64 bit drivers
except for my Logitech web cam and they say one will be out shortly for that.
Patches from Microsoft are avalible for the 64 bit version as well.
