Live ID "cookie" Problem

When trying to log onto hotmail, I'm directed to https://login.live.com. It
says that cookies are not enabled, though I've added the URL to my trusted
list, enabled cookies, etc. but to no avail. How can I fix this or uninstall
live id please?
