No sound comming from my computer

Hello
I had to "o" out my hard drive and now I get no sound from my computer I do have a sound card and there was sound before new to this so I need some 1,2,3 help

You mean you erased your drive...?
Did you reinstall your OS..?
Did you install your mother board drivers which also have your sound.
