freezes when putting in disc

My comp keeps freezing almost everytime I put a disc in my cd or dvd drive.

It's probably because it's trying to AUTOPLAY.

Go into my computer find the CD or DVD drive that you want to stop using
autoplay on, then right click on it, then somewhere in there is something
about autoplay

(can't tell you because I'm on a domain machine atm, restrictions apply)

Uncheck the box that says use autoplay with this drive

restart and try again"!

Doesn't seem to be autoplay, thanks though. While in properties though I
check the hardwares tab and found that my hard drive location at 0(0), my
DVD-RW at location 0(0) as well and my cd drive at location 1(1). Could this
cause the problem?
