Message: XP SL2 Select 'START' then select 'ALL PROGRAMS', then 'POINT
to/HIGHLIGHT' any program listed, then 'RIGHT CLICK' . A context
sensitive window should pop up to display options that can be selected.
The problem is that this window will flash up and disappear instantly,
giving no opportunity to make a selection. I will appreciate any help
you can offer. THX, Normo

Try the following.

Go to Control Panel and double click Taskbar and Start Menu.
In Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, click on the Start Menu
tab.
On the Start Menu page, click on the Customize button.

For the XP style Start Menu, click on the Advanced tab.
In the Start Menu items box, make sure there's a check mark in
the box next to "Enable dragging and dropping"
Click OK twice.

For the Classic style Start Menu, look in the "Advanced Start
menu options" box.
Make sure there's a check mark in the box next to "Enable
dragging and dropping".
Click OK twice

Good luck
