it is my recolection that those addresses that are stored are in the cookies
folder. and can also be deleted there. also if you go in the history folder
you can delete those as well... then there is the temporary internet files
folder . you can empty that out as well.....

From Internet Explorer, select menu Tools | Internet Options. On the General
tab, click 'Clear History' button.

Open IE, go to Tools, select Internet Options and hit clear history,
sometimes you need to reboot to truly clear the bar and you will need to at
least close and re-open IE. If you only wish to delete individual entries,
go to the dropdown list, select the item and hit delete on your keyboard.
