i want to change the icons of my stuff

can someone here tell me how to change my icons? for example: my mp3 file's
icons dont look how i wnat them to, they changed because i tried to update my
media player thing, and i dont like the way they look now, i want to put them
back, would anyone here be able to assist me with that?
