Hi,
I need your help to know the capabilities of Windows media player for
video recording to a DVD burner drive. I have seen the "Burn" option in
Windows media Player 10. Does it support writing in DVD format also once the
MPEG2 codec is installed in Windows XP? I am using Windows XP embedded. I
also wanted to know if any API's are available that can fetch the video data
alone i.e excluding the skin and Player Buttons ,during Playback from the DVD
drive. I need the video data alone to be displayed in Monitor. Please give me
some options to do this if Windows media player do not have the above
functionalities.

WMP10 will burn an audio CD...not a video DVD.

You need DVD Authoring software...some examples
are...Nero, Roxio, ULead, WinDVD, ProShow Gold, etc...
