Hi,

When I start the Remote Assistance I get the message "Windows Messenger is
not installed". MSN Messenger (the latest version) is installed and running
when I try the remote assistance. I ran a registry cleaner program to see if
it would resolve the issue but it did not.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Serge,

Downlad and install the latest Windows Messenger.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a8d9eb73-5f8c-4b9a-940f-9157a3b3d774&displayLang=en

It is different from Windows Live Messenger. Also make sure that Windows
Messenger is checked in Add/Remove Windows Components.
