I have a new Dell Inspiron 5100 that came with Windows XP
Home. When I upgraded to Windows XP Pro, I found my modem
works with direct dialing thru the fax application, but I
cannot use the New Connection Wizard to manually set up an
internet connection. The only option that is available
is "Set up a Braodband Connection..." What I need is to
access the "Coonect using a dial-up modem." How can this
be done?

Re-run the Network Setup Wizard and correct the role of the machine in
the Network.
