Hi Everyone,

I used Norton password manager 2004 for years to fill in passwords and
forms. Now that I'm upgrading to Norton system works 2007 ( which dosen't
have password manager), I wanted to use IE 7's auto complete instead. But my
problem is it no longer works. I've used internet tools to enable/disable
autocomplete options, turned my browser on/off, but nothing happens when I go
to a website requiring a password, fillout the password and click enter.
There is no "popup" from autocomplete asking me to save the password.
IE 7 acts like norton password manager is still on my system, and
autocomplete simply dosen't work.
And if I remember right, didn't Windows XP pro also has a offline service,
similar to IE's autocomplete, that would fill out passwords that programs
would ask for?
I wonder what services or processes run autocomplete type applications? I
may have turned off such a service while tweaking my computer and didn't
realize it because I was using Norton Password manager.
The above question is why I'm posting my questions in this forum, rather
than in a IE forum.
Any ideas on how I can get IE 7 autocomplete , and the similar Windows XP
off line service up and running again? Thanks.

Browsing option:

[ ] Use inline Autocomplete.

Also try this from this link:
Control the AutoComplete Mode (Line 37)
