convert video files

Hi All,
I have a video file saved as .asx and I need to change it to .asf, or .wmv,
or something that I can upload to my myspace account. Can someone tell me how
I can convert the files, if that is at all possible?!? Thank you and I
appreciate all your help.

Import it into Windows Movie Maker, drag it to the timeline, then select
Save To My Computer.
