When I try to play a DVD on my laptop running Windows XP Pro.
InterVideo says in green "Create overlay failed, please lower your
screen resolution or color depth and try again". I've tried a few
things that haven't worked. Anyone else have this problem or know how
to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try reinstalling your graphics software? (ie the drivers for your
graphics card)
