recycle icon

recently upgraded windows 98 to windows xp professional.
do not see icon for recycle bin on my desktop screen.
how do i get it to show up? also tried to find a file or
folder to address the problem, with no luck. any info
would be appreciated. needless to say a search of help
to did answer my question(s). thank you.

Right click the taskbar -> Properties -> start menu -> classic start menu.

Hi Jerry,

Replace/Repair the Recycle Bin (Line 64)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
