View Full Version : Folders view settings

I know how to set all folders to the same view settings. Is there a way
to set only a sub-set of folders to the same view?

For instance, I want sound files to have one view, graphics another,
data files a different one, etc. I know I can set each one manually but
this is an obvious hassle with over 10,000 folders to manage. Is there
a way to do this other than manually?

No, Windows does not provide a way for to do this.

You can add customization to a folder and its subfolders. See the
properties> customize. Select a template (music, images, documents,
etc). Place check in box to apply to subfolders.

Example: If you have 2000 music folders, place them into one or more
main folders. Apply the customization to each of the main folders.
