Blocking Select Items

Does Windows XP have a parental control built in or anything that could be
used like a parental control? Or do you have any suggestions for blocking
certain material that will be free?

Internet Explorer has a very basic control: Tools | Internet Options |
Content tab | Content Advisor. Complete instructions are in IE's Help file.

Search the web to find free parental control software. If you really
need this type of software, you may find it worthwhile to invest a bit
of money in it.

Adding to Earl Grey (my Favourite tea0 <g>, you should assign them limited
User Accounts through a group Policy ( gpedit.msc).
The Content Advisor they soon will get around it and know how crack it
clean, you know children talk to each other and this Kid know this happen and
how he and his brother did crack it by downloading this and that!.
Look for other software like net nanny or some Anti-Virus have Parental
control, you can configure them by passwording them and assign yourself as
Admin.
