outlook missing emails after upgrade

computer having problems with windows ME. Upgraded to
Windows XP Home. Used recommended upgrade "that would save
all settings and data. Did the install. after installation
Outlook saved the address book, and favorites but no inbox
or sent files. how can I get this back. am I totally
screwed?
