Hi

You'll have to install from the disk, see if it accepts the Product Key,
then see if you can activate. I don't know of a way to check beforehand.

If you were concerned if it was genuine or not, why in the world did you
buy it? If it was really cheap then you can almost be certain that it's
not genuine.

gls858,
bobc did not ask for an arrogant lecture from you, he asked for advice.
Just because the disc may have been a bargain, does not mean it is
necessarily pirated.
When you pay £80 on ebay for a genuine version and twice as much at PC
World, it looks to me like PC World are the pirates!

I wasn't being arrogant simply truthful. Anything for the far east is
suspect and if it was really cheap even more suspect.

And I see you didn't offer any advice either.

To the OP the only way to find out if it's legit is to load it and
see if it activates.
