Steve,

Were you using Outlook or Outlook Express?

If you were using Outlook then you need to search for any
files on your cmoputer theat end with the extension
of .PST (This is the Outlook Personal Storage file for
you emails.)

Once you find the .PST files you need to open Outlook and
click on File, click on Open and browse to the location
of the PST file and your email, if originally saved
there, should now appear again. (You may find one or more
of the PST files. You need to look for PST files that
have an older date, because you may find a current dated
file and that probably not be the correct file.)

If you were using Outlook Express then you need to search
for files that end in .DBX (These are the files that
Outlook Express uses to store files.)

I'm not quite sure how to get the info back out of the
DBX files but you could call Microsoft support to help
you walk through that process.

Good luck.
