Until I can get more money I have to use WordPad for my documents. I
see it comes up with a page width of 50 columns, and Ican find no way
to expand that to say 75. Hence I can't fill a page width-wise.

Anyone tell me if there is a way?

Thanks

Try a different font which will pack more characters within the margins
of the page you defined.

You also may wish to check out the terrific "free" office suite
(including word processor) called OpenOffice. See
http://www.openoffice.org. Available for download, or CD's with the
software is often available on magazine-cover CD's or ce the CR-ROM
sourcdes listed on the web site.

Go to www.openoffice.org

there you will be able to download an application called OPENOFFICE which
works on all versions of windows and is a full office packet offering
equivalent programs to Microsoft Office, it will save and open all the same
formats at default. If you download this you probably will not ever buy
Microsoft Office. The download is large so use a DSL or make it using a
friends DSL line.

Open Office is completely free.
