If you actually want Movie Maker 2.0, you
can download it from the following site:

MovieMaker 2.0
http://tinyurl.com/6vp4g

If you meant to say Movie Maker 2.1...
it is installed along with WinXP SP2...
which can be downloaded from the
following link:

Download Windows XP SP2
http://tinyurl.com/6ubys

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.

It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.

And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.

Hello John. I hope you can help me to resolve the following issue with
Windows Movie Maker 2.1.4026.0:
After I click on the Windows Movie maker icon I get the following message:
"Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close", and when
I click on "error report" I get:
Error Signature
AppName: moviemk.exe AppVer:2.1.4026.0 ModName:qedit.dll
ModVer:6.5.2600.2180 Offset:0001a513

Windows Movie Maker was working fine until one of those Windows automatic
updates was performed.
In advance a big THANK YOU for any help you can provide me with.

In the future...when you have a question
please begin a new thread.

Two possibilities:

1) Some users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.
