I can't seem to find a document that took me 2 hours to
create. I know I saved it. The file was initially a word
document I uploaded from my hotmail attachments. I then
modified the file (2 hours of work) and saved it. I
believe it was saved in a temporary internet file
directory under contentie5 but I can't seem to find any
word document with that name when I use the search
function. I also can't see the temp content ie5 folder
using the search function. Can nyone help me with this?
Much appreciated...thanks in advance.

Yes...still nothing. Why can't I even see the content ie 5
folder or other temp files. Are these temporary files
hidden in this folder?

Since you used Word, isn't it listed at the bottom of the File menu as
one of the recently edited files? If not, then it is probable that you
did not actually save it even though you thought you did. I also feel
the need to comment that putting in the tempraory internet file folder
is very unusual place. There is no telling what IE might have done to
to the file. You should put it in "My Documents", or if not there,
then at least on your c: disk somewhere more dedicated to your files,
e.g. c:\data.

Did you check Word's default file location?
