not able to play a DVD in MP11

I was surprised that MP11 does not have neccessary codec to play a simple DVD
which is easily plyed on winDVD.

They recomend to buy the codec from third party ,but winDVD comes as free
with the laptop .
I do not want to have two software WINDVD & MP11 together ,i have already
done installation of MP11 .
any suggestions

Reinstall WinDVD...... you must have the DVD decoding software installed in
order to play a DVD on WMP. It's not a question of why it doesn't come
included in WMP, it's a question of the owners of the codec demanding more
$s.
