Partition is clean, if it is a infected or damaged it will be no help to you?.

How did you do that?

Why do you want to? That sounds normal if you properly deleted the virus in
the Restore Point.

Why do you want do that? If the viruses are gone, there's no need to do
anything more. If you restore back to factory settings, that deletes
*everything* from your drive--all of your data, etc.--probably not what you
want.

It won't bring them back, but if you repeat the behavior that got you
infected in the same place, it's likely that you will sooner or later get
them back; but that's true whether or not you restore back to factory
settings.

How to do that is a Dell function, not a Windows one. I don't know off-hand
how to do so, but Dell can help you. However, again, I warn you against
doing this.

Hi,

First of all virus infection within the System Volume Information folder
(where restore points are stored) are harmless unless the system is restored
using an infected restore point.

Other than the System Volume Information folder, is the rest of the system
virus free?

Do you *need* to do a restore, or is it just that System Restore does not
complete a restore? If the latter, disable System Restore, reboot and enable
it. This will wipe out all existing restore points. Now run a scan on the
System Volume Information folder to confirm it is virus free.
