Invisible right click menu

I have a really strange problem. When I right click the desktop, taskbar, or
anything related to explorer, I expect to see a menu with a bunch of options.
However, when I right click, all I see is the shadow for the invisible right
click menu. If I move the mouse in the invisible menu box, the options will
appear, and they stay there. This is still annoying and I would really
appreciate it if someone could help me with this.

Try resetting the theme :
Right click Desktop > Properties
Change the theme > Click ok

Try disabling third-party context menu items using Method 2 from Ramesh's
article and see if the problem still exists.
