I have lost my tool bar at the top of the word document
page, so I can not open documents, print, edit...
anything. How do I get the tool bar back?

View-Toolbars gets a list of what's available. Are there none with a
checkmark to left ? Click on what's wanted and that toolbar should appear.

This group is for people having problems with the Windows XP operating
system. As Word isn't - nor has it ever been - part of XP, or any other
Windows OS, this isn't the place to be asking questions regarding it. Please
repost in either a Word or Office group.
