Display Properties...Please help!

I was adjusting the display properties, and then went to
the settings area. I increased the screen area and now
the screen only shows fuzzy output, and nothing can be
seen on the screen, or made sense of. (its like a fuzzy tv
screen that shows no picture only colors sliding accross
the screen) How can I fix this?

Is it onboard video or a card?
If a card, put another one in & boot & change settings to 600 by 800 & 256
colours.
Then try your old card again?
Let us know what happens?
