All of a sudden ( no new instalation) I'm getting the following message:
The backup archive you have chosen is password-protected. To access
this backup archive you must enter the password.
I have no idea what is generating this warning and to eliminate it I have to
shut down the processs.
Please help

Shut down what process? When does this message occur?

Does this message appear immediately upon startup? If so does it also occur
when the system is booted in safe mode? If not do some clean boot
troubleshooting to identify what program/process is generating the message.
