I am taking an online course which requires Office 2003. I have 2002 at home.
I have typed a paper at home that I now want to send to the school. I could
retype the whole thing at work where I have '03. My question is, how big a
difference is there in the 2 programs? Will my school really be aware that my
paper came from 02 as opposed to 03? I'd rather not spend the extra $$ if I
can avoid it. Thanks for any and all input!

I have since discovered that I can buy Office 03 from my bookstore for $99
which I done. So I'm all set. Thanks!

I'm sure that was not necessary, but since you already have it... make sure
you uninstall the old office before installing the new version. To tell you
the truth, I don't know any difference in the two. Depending you what type
of class your in might make a difference. I have a friend who just did a
Thesis and he used 2002 version.
You can Google "Office 2002 vs Office 2003" or "Word 2002 vs Word 2003"
