Persistent Domain Policy in Windows XP (laptop) when it is at home

Hello,

Is it possible having the windows domain policy applied to Windows XP
(laptop), when the PC is disconnected from the network ?
For istance at home. Of course, using the same domain account, that - i
think - it will be cached.
Is that cache limited to 180 days ?
How can i extend it to always :-)

Is it possible what i ask ?
Any help?
