After locking the computer, when users attempt to log back in by
pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL nothing happens. It's as if the combination
isn't mapped while it is locked or something. Mouse works fine,
keyboards work fine (I swapped them out on other workstations). I'm
guessing there is something in our build of windows (xp pro srv 2) but
I have not been able to find anything more about it. Has anyone seen
this before? We are all using dells. ctrl+alt+del works fine
normally, and this is an intermittent problem. It happens maybe once
out of every 8-10 locks.
