other website icons/links

when i go to other websites and they have icons/links for me to access, i'm
unable to see them. For whatever reason they are not visible to me. Something
in blocking them and I need help

Hello,

If you are using IE6, try running it with add-ons disabled. Start Internet
Explorer as normal, Tools, Manage Add-ons, Enable or Disable Add-ons.
Disable all the add-ons and enable them one by one till the problem appears
and you get the culprit.

If you are using IE7, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools >
Internet Explorer 7 (No Add-ons) to start without any add-ons. Close the
browser and see whether the problem occurs again.

If the problem does not occur again, start IE7, go to Tools > Manage Add-ons
and disable all the add-ons and enable them one by one till the problem
appears and you get the culprit.
