There is a user that is having numerous issues using Windows Explorer and
it's Search Feature, which I personally haven't liked the search feature
within Windows XP as compared to Windows 2000. I also have ran into some
issues with Windows Explorer in Win XP Pro, SP2 so this doesn't surprise me
any that this other user has ran into some issues, though found the behavior
on his system to be rather abnormal.

Sometimes, searching for a particular string doesn't show up in the search
result window the first time, user goes right to the file within the folder
that it searched, but then run the search again using the same search
criteria and it finds the file this second time around.

User copies the file from the search window into a newly created folder, but
then the window with the newly created folder being shown never shows the
files copied until it is refreshed manually.

After user makes adjustments to the file, the user uses Windows Explorer to
rename the file by clicking into it, type in the modified name, but then
after pressing the enter key or clicking out of it, it reverts back to the
old name. If the user then double clicks on the file at that point, it will
not open cause the name has been changed even though it's still showing the
old file name within the window itself. User once again has to manually
refresh the window to get it to show the new name that it has been renamed
to before it can double click on the file for it to open properly.

What needs to be done to address this issue?
