Display settings

Hi, have a ? When I close down my computer and reopen it the display
properties color will change from 32 bit to 8 bit. I have to reset it
every time I open my computer. Do you know how to fix this? Also when I
open outlook express or internet explorer the windows will flicker and makes
it hard to read. do you know how to fix this? Thanks for any info .

Get the lastest drivers from your video card maker's web site. Also,
you may require the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Do not rely on any drivers that show up in Windows Updates. These are
usually "old" version and by personal experience, can cause more
problems.

you made recently?
Operating system?
Graphic Card?
Monitor?

If you inadvertently "updated" the video driver to an unsuitable
version, you may try a roll back of the driver. (Display Properties,
settings, Advanced, Adapter, Driver)
