View Full Version : Microsoft Binder

I understand that Microsoft Binder is not being brought
forward with Windows XP, and that the program is in fact
being dropped altogether.

Any suggestions regarding how we can support some fairly
extensive libraries built up with this program? Are there
any third-party programs which might take over the
function. Binder has been very useful for us.

Thanks.

Actually, Microsoft Binder is an application that was very popular in =
Office 97.=20
It has never been part of Windows. It, however, is normal to purchase =
and upgrade=20
your Office product when you upgrade your operating system. If you =
upgraded to=20
Office XP, you no longer have Microsoft Binder. Microsoft stopped making =

Microsoft Binder and thus it is not part of Office XP.=20

Office XP does include an export program that will allow Microsoft =
Binder files=20
to be extracted into their original file format (Word, Excel, etc.). =
Once extracted,=20
the file can be read. To learn more about Microsoft Binder and the =
extraction program,=20
click on the F1 key while in Microsoft Office and type "binder" while in =
the help screen.=20
If you want to continue to use Microsoft Binder, reinstall it from your =
licensed previous=20
version of Office.=20
