Hi all

I have junior admins in my organization and sometimes they require access to
things of which they need very important passwords. My question is : Is
there any way that i can give them the passwords without them seeing what it
is. This sounds silly but i just wondered if it is possible. Someting like
typing the password, encrypting it, send it to them and they paste it in the
space where the password must be in.

I don't know why not, using a 3rd party app, but it sounds like the wrong
way to be handling things, and a lot of extraneous work. How does the
password rx unencrypt such a thing? Otherwise it'd have to be done on an
account basis, in which case they'd have the power to detect it in short
order. Any password under the asterisks is "gettable" from their own chair.

What's the difference between using an app to put a password in or having
the password? Either way they get the same access whether htey know what
the password is or not. And so would anyone they passed it on to. It's
also pretty easy to trigger a password into another app instead of the
account window. And so on...

I think you need to do more work on your policies.
