hebrew on windowsxp

Hello.
I run dos under windows xp,
and I see by edit.exe file that there are hebrew character on it
(on other computer I see dos-hebrew with no problem)l.
instead of Hebrew (of the font terminal) I see unfamiliar characters.
(can I download from somewhere the font : terminal, that is good for hebrew
characters ?)
What shall I do in order to correct the problem ?
