I posted before, but i have the feeling my question was
misinterpreted. So lemme try to explain myself better...

I have two HD. The 6GB hard drive and the 80GB hard
drive. The 6GB hard drive contains the boot.ini, shown
below. The 80GB hard drive contains windows XP. I would
like for the 80GB drive to contain the boot.ini AND
windows XP, like any other normal computer.

Now, What changes must i make to boot.ini before
switching it over to the 80GB drive, and setting the 80GB
drive as the master?

Thanks for any help
Mason

[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOW S
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft
Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect

You need to remove/recable the 6G drive then reinstall the system and your
applications. That's the only real way to insure things are correct now and
in the future. A major problem will arise if something steps on the wrong
part of the registry. Partition enumeration order could change and that
would really screw the works up. Better to take the hit now, under control
conditions, than wait until you're frantic to recover from a minor
malfunction turned into a major disaster.
