View Status bar magic trick

Ok, I'm sure this has been posted 1 million times but I don't see it since I
just joined but whats the trick to getting teh status bar to stay visible
all the time w/o having to LOCK your desktop?

Hi Karl,

Go to Windows Explorer/View/Status Bar. Then go to Tools/Folder
Options/View/Apply to all folders. Works for IE as well.
