Device manager says it is working correctly.
Long story short...
I was using a standard PS/2 keyboard... decided to upgrade to a Logitech
cordless. As`soon as I connected, the mouse worked fine, but the keyboard
wouldn't respond. As the mouse was too small anyway, I decided to send it
back. However, when I plugged the PS/2 back in, it wouldn't respond. I
thought that maybe the keyboard had died and bought the above Microsoft
product. Same result -- whether using it with the PS/2 plug or USB. (The
only difference is that Device Manager sees it as working correctly in USB...
and the F key can be hit on and off... and the extras (My Docs, etc) can be
accessed.)
Also--when I use it with the PS/2 adapter, it works fine UNTIL the Windows
XP slash screen. I have tried all variations of BIOS (enabling/disabling
USB), have loaded/reloaded drivers, etc)...
I have googled away on my wife's laptop... but can find no answers.
Anybody?????
