Hi

I am getting a popup message box when I use a shortcut to open a link to my
e-mail:

"Windows cannot find http://blah.blah.com/. Make sure you typed the name
correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the 'Start
Button', and then click search.

The problem is that as soon as this message appears the long-in page then
loads for the e-mail service. Also, if I already have a web browser opened
the message doesn't appear. Recently, loaded Windows Defender and turned on
Windows Firewall.

Got any ideas what to do to eliminate the error?

Thanks

JMJ

I have seen the same error come up recently. I've done neither of the
things that you have done; the only changes I have made recently was to
install Microsoft updates... If you have done this recently as well, then
one of the recent updates is probably to blame...
