View Full Version : CTL+SHIFT+I doesn't italicize text

I've got a typesetting machine running Adobe Creative Suite 1 and PageMaker
and I can not get any application to recognize CTL+SHIFT+I and italicize
type. It's not the font. I've tried it with several fonts including the plain
old Times New Roman that comes with Windows and it won't work. CTL+SHIFT+B
works as do all the other shortcuts.

I've been to the Adobe forums and we've tried a few things including
deleting the old preferences file with no luck.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks,

Mike

This is somewhat unclear. Does italicising work in Wordpad? Does
invoking italics via menus work?
