After years of using my PC without this problem, I now find my Date and Time
have changed and I'm unauthorized to correct it. At some point yesterday
the date and time on my PC reverted to April '03 and when I went into Control
Panel to change the Date/Time, I got the notice "You do not have the proper
privilege level to change the system time".

I'm pretty computer illiterate so if anyone can help me, I'll need "dummy"
type instruction.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Go to Start/control Panel/user Accounts. Look at the account you
logged in with. Does it say "Computer Administrator" under it?

Thanks for taking the time and interest to respond to my dilemma. As per
your instruction, I opened the "User Acc'ts" and saw that my user acc't was
identified as "Limited Account". My daughter who also has her own acc't said
she was also unable to change the time. Previously, my account seemed to
have those "Administrator" privileges, any ideas as to why that changed and
how to change it back ?
