hey i have zero sound coming from my speakers. i have updated the system
bios of my dell dimension 8400. from a00 all the way to ao9. and i have
updated my chip set to ao9. and still no sound. my logitech x-530 speakers
are connected to the built in motherboard sound chip.

When the BIOS is flashed/updated the settings will revert to default.
Therefore the settings in CMOS setup must be configured. For
example onboard sound if used should be enabled, and so on.

Zero sound coming from your speakers was NO reason to take the chance of
flashing your bios.
