Hi. I have a Dual dvi Radeon x1650 videocard (Gecube) and two
monitors.
When the computer boots, both monitors show the same boot picture,
however, as soon as I boot into windows the second (I tried switching
monitors and cables, it's monitor- and cable- independent) says "no
DVI signal" and turns off showing yellow led.
I ran thru a lot of hoops to make windows see "Radeon x1650" and
"Radeon x1650 secondary" videocard; after the first reboot with both
in device manager it detected two separate monitors correctly (but
nothing worked just as I described above), now, the second monitor
disappeared from device list and the 2nd display in display settings
shows (Default monitor) instead of it. You can extend your desktop
onto it and drag windows onto it - except they don't show up, the
monitor is in yellow-led mode and won't turn on.
You can't set modes on the 2nd monitor, if you do and press apply it
does nothing hardware and just switches back to what was originally
there.
I cannot tyr to force install the monitor the same way I did with
video card because "I will select device manually" doesn't have
monitors.

How do I make it work?

I'm only a single monitor gal I'm afraid, but be sure you have the latest
ATI drivers....

Anything in the manual for the card (probably available at the GeCube
website if you've lost it. I seem to remember the word Clone being
appropriate for having the same thing on two monitors at once.
