View Full Version : VOB Files & Hadwaer Acceleration

Folks:

For much of this month I have been using the latest version of RealPlayer to
play VOB files on DVD.

At first the video would be unstable (flickering) but the sound was clear &
sharp. So I played around with the Hardware Acceleration settings until
both video & audio were sharp & clear.

Recently all this high quality has stopped. BOTH video & sound are now SLOW.
Tweaking the Hardware Acceleration no longer makes any difference.
I copied the DVDs to the hard drive but this did NOT improve audio or video
output.

Appreciate any suggestions. Is there any configuration change that I can
make to return to great original quality of audio & video for these VOB
files ?

Thanks,
Jo.

Sounds like your video adapter may
be failing. And it may be worth a try to
install an updated video driver.
