Unfortunately, don't think so. It's an all-or-none setup. I tried the
cursor drag and this opened the first message I highlighted. Delete is
greyed out almost every way I try to use. You CAN save copies via File-Save
as... for wanted items however.

use Ctl-Click to select more than one non-adjacent headers or Click and
Shift-click to select a range of adjacent headers. Then hit delete.
