Everytime the computer gets to my log in and i click on it then it reboots.
I can start up in safe mode with networking and tried running the windows
updates but it won't let me run updates. any ideas on what to do? No errors
are showing up it just keeps rebooting.

Next time you bootup in Safe Mode rt click MyComputer>select
Properties>Advanced>Startup and Recovery-Settings>Uncheck the Automatically
Restart Box. Restart and you may now get a BSOD ( Blue Screen of Death )
with
a message. Post the message back here. You could try a System Restore
from Safe Mode also. Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System
Tools>System Restore. Just follow the Instructions. Go back a few days.

I did a system restore and I can now start the computer not in safe mode.
However, now the icons are missing. I still can not get to the windows
updates either.
