New Video Camera

After plugging in my new USB Webcam (DEF-299 Camera), on my laptop, I attempt
to get an image in either Scanner Camera Wizard or Windows Movie Maker and
all I get is Check the connection or make sure that the device is not being
used by another application or user. The camera is connected and there are no
other Programs running.

I installed this camera on my desktop with no problems.

Any ideas or suggestions for getting this camera to work on my laptop
(Toshiba A105-S4011)?

Hi, I had the same thing, then downloaded all the updates from
microsoft and it works fine now.
